Christian Family Coalition Hosts Largest Gubernatorial and Attorney General Candidate's Forums in Florida!

MIAMI-On Saturday, August 7th, 2010, the Christian Family Coalition hosted two back-to-back Gubernatorial and Attorney General Candidate's Forums in South Florida, drawing a record-breaking crowd of over 1,000 people.

Rick Scott a no-show at evening forum!

The first record-breaking event was held Saturday morning at the Doubletree Hotel in Miami where over three-hundred (300) attendees heard from a lineup of leading candidates for Florida Attorney General, Holly Benson, Pam Bondi & Florida Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottkamp, and Florida Governor, Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, Brian P. Moore, and Rick Scott.  It should be noted that both Lawton "Bud" Chiles and Florida's Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink, candidates for Florida Governor, were also invited to attend, however, Mr. Chiles was unable to appear due to circumstances beyond his control while Ms. Sink simply dismissed the invitation as a "religious event".
 
Later on that evening, the Christian Family Coalition hosted the second of two Florida Gubernatorial and Attorney General Candidate's Forums at Church of All Nations located in Boca Raton, Florida.  For the second event, Senior Pastor Mark D. Boykin and Suzanne Boyd, CBS-12 anchor, co-moderated the forum attende by over 700 participants.  The following candidates attended the evening forum:  Florida Attorney General candidates, Holly Benson and Florida Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottkamp, Pam Bondi was unable to attend the evening forum due to circumstances beyond her control, for the Florida Gubernatorial Canadidates, Lawton "Bud" Chiles, Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum and Brian P. Moore appeared.  Rick Scott canceled at the last minute refusing to state why.
