Christian Family Coalition hosts first-ever
National Day of Prayer event at Miami City Hall!

MIAMI-For the first-time in its history, the Christian Family Coalition hosted a National Day of Prayer Event in the county’s largest municipality, the city of Miami, with Mayor Tomas Regalado on Thursday, May 2nd.
The event took place in the City of Miami Commission Chambers, after welcoming remarks by City of Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and Anthony Verdugo, Founder and Executive Director, Christian Family Coalition, Rev. James Pacley led the group in a special invocation. Mayor Regalado reminded everyone on the importance of faith and the power of prayer in our community. He also shared an inspiring story on how two years after the Marlins stadium was built, it had never been sold out until Joel Osteen brought “Night of Hope” to Miami, an event which the mayor participated in as well.
Following the Mayor’s address, Rev. Jack Hakimian shared a special message on the Significance of Prayer over a City, the event was concluded by a Prayer for the City of Miami Officials and Leaders.
“We are extremely grateful to Mayor Tomas Regalado and his entire staff for allowing us to bring a message of faith, hope, and compassion today to the city of Miami and its residents on this, the 61st Annual National Day of Prayer”, stated Anthony Verdugo, Founder and Executive Director, Christian Family Coalition (CFC).
